Private Markets with Cameron Brownjohn

In this podcast, we explore how investing in private markets can potentially, for those willing to tolerate the risk, increase financial returns and increase environmental and social impact.

Most New Zealand investors are familiar with investing via managed funds in the shares of companies listed on the New Zealand, Australian or international share markets and the debt or fixed interest of companies. But most aren't familiar with investing via managed funds into specialist private market investments, the shares and debt issued by privately owned non-listed companies, as opposed to publicly listed companies.

Rodger discusses this subject with Cameron Brownjohn CEO of Federation Asset Management. Federation has created a fund for retail investors to access private markets. Please note that Money Matters is not endorsing or recommending the fund or strategy; you are encouraged to consult with a qualified financial advisor before making any investment decisions.
