Money Matters' clients benefit from Rodger’s extensive educational experience. dating back over 30 years to when at age 20 he was one of New Zealand’s youngest full-time lecturers in business.  Rodger’s exceptional ability to educate clients is a valuable asset supporting their ability to understand their investment plan and investments and to act wisely.

This Education Takes A Range of Forms Including:

  • Educational Seminars

Money Matters' educational seminars cover subjects such as key investment planning principles and practices, responsible investment principles and practices, economic and investment markets updates and updates on responsible investment activity.

  • Educational Articles

Rodger has authored many educational articles that help inform Money Matters' clients. These range from his Common Cents personal investment column and NZ Herald Opinion Pieces through to internationally published academic articles. Clients have access to all these articles.

  • Educational Books and Book Chapters

Rodger has authored several educational books and book chapters. He is the co-author of the book New Zealand Guide to Financial Planning and author of The Essential Guide to Financial Planning in New Zealand. Rodger contributed several chapters for the two editions of the Australian book Ethical Investment, a chapter to the New Zealand book Carbon Neutral 2020, and most recently to the international book Authentic Leadership (Spiller, C. & Ladkin, D., 2013). Clients have access to these and Rodger’s ongoing writing.
